Working professionally in video production since 2009, I hold a BA of Communications (Media Arts & Production) from University of Technology. With a particular passion for editing and motion graphics, I like to say “I can do it all”; providing a range of video production services to a wide range of clients, to meet an extensive range of video needs.
Since starting Curl Co. Productions 8 years ago, I have worked with labels, brands and organisations such as ReachOut.com, American Honey, Samsung, SportsBet, University of Newcastle, FRDC, StyleXpose, Plague of Man, NPS MedicineWise, Toyota, Hub Insights and VictoryOne Media. Producing market research content, recruitment and training videos, internal and corporate communications pieces, and customer-facing web content.
Working with a small team of creatives, my animated short Sarah Sloane: The Rash was shortlisted for the 2012 Tropfest and 2013 Marbella International Film Festival. This flamed a passion for animation and motion graphics, that to this day, remains my favourite part of production.
I was also involved, as editor, vfx and motion designer, in the postproduction of Phobos Corporation Training Video #3: Conflict Resolution. This short was a finalist in the Olympus Filmmaker Challenge and screened at the 2016 St Kilda Film Festival.
Working full-time for two and a half years at the IAG Research Centre as a Visual Content Producer, I had the opportunity to produce works across IAG’s key brands such as NRMA Insurance, SGIO, SGIC, Swann Insurance, RACV, AMI Insurance, NZI, AM General & Kurnia in Malaysia, and with IAG’s key partners; Nestlé Purina, Western Sydney Wanderers & NSW SES. With much of the works distributed internally for training and communications purposes as well as through YouTube, social media and broadcast channels.
Working directly with businesses, as well as with established production companies, and world-class agencies (M&C Saatchi & TBWA/Whybin to name a couple), I understand the power and value of high-quality video and animation.
